Dr. John utilizes the following techniques:

Webster Technique (for Pregnant Women) - click here for details - Dr. John Ferguson is certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association to adjust pregnant women through the Webster technique - a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment which corrects subluxation in the sacrum (pelvis). The tense muscles and ligaments in the pelvis, caused by misalignment in the sacrum may lead to constraint in the uterus. When the uterus is torqued and constrained in this manner, it is more difficult for the baby to move into the best possible position for birth. As a result of this specific chiropractic care, the mother’s tense pelvic muscles and ligaments relax, enhancing the physiological environment needed for normal baby positioning.

Torque Release (TRT) / MC2: Tonal (or nervous system centered) chiropractic techniques are not muscle or bone based but rather focus on the nervous system and the related changes in a person’s physiology and can be used on anyone from infants to the elderly.  TRT looks at the nervous system first and the doctor’s light touch to the spine sends input into the nervous system which then affects the muscle system which, in turn, affects the skeletal system. Adjustments are made to the spine or pelvis in a perfectly relaxed, natural position with an instrument that quickly and gently "clicks" and has a quick "torque" or "spin" to deliver an additional dimensional dynamic that no other instrument in chiropractic can deliver (without twisting, cracking or roughness of manual adjustments). click here for details
